On 30 July 2025, TNS marked an important project milestone with the First Steel Cutting Ceremony for the Wassana Wellhead Processing Platform (WPP) Topsides and Jacket Fabrication, held at TNS BPK Fabrication Shop No. 1.
The event commenced with a sacred Shrine Houses Worship Ceremony, paying respect to both the Brahma Shrine and the Ancestor Shrine. This traditional blessing marked an auspicious beginning for the fabrication phase of the project.
The ceremony was graced by distinguished guests including Mr. Kumphon Kumnerdsiri, Director of Petroleum Technology and Operations Supervision Division (Department of Mineral Fuels), Dr. Sean Guest, CEO of Valeura Energy (Thailand) Ltd. (VET), and Dr. Greg Kulawski, COO of VET, along with their leadership team.
Representing TNS were Mr. Masaya Watanabe, Chief Executive Officer, and Mr. Virach Tantivipa, Chief Operating Officer, together with members of the management and operations teams. As a token of appreciation, TNS presented a commemorative plaque for the Wassana WPP to the honored guests.
