8 July 2025 – Koh Nok Island, Tha Kham, Bangpakong, Chachoengsao
TNS is proud to announce the successful completion of a mangrove reforestation initiative under its TREE NS Mangrove Planting Project, led by Mr. Masaya Watanabe, CEO alongside 80 dedicated employees. Together, the team planted 500 mangrove trees at Koh Nok Island, located in the Tha Kham subdistrict of Bangpakong district, Chachoengsao province.
This initiative marks a meaningful step forward in TNS’s continued efforts to protect and revitalize Thailand’s coastal ecosystems. Mangrove forests serve as natural green barriers, protecting the shoreline from erosion and storm surges, while providing a vital habitat for marine life and supporting local biodiversity.
“Today, we are going to plant 500 mangroves. TNS is very pleased to be a part of the increment of the mangrove forest in Thailand,” Watanabe san said.
Special appreciation is extended to the Yard Facility & Maintenance Team for their work in restoring the area’s infrastructure following damage from strong winds and tidal surges. Their efforts ensured the site was once again suitable for community and environmental engagement.
This project also highlights the environmental awareness and active participation of TNS employees, who volunteered their time and energy to contribute to a greener future.
“Let’s grow small trees to make a big forest together.”
TNS remains committed to its CSR values, striving to balance business growth with environmental stewardship. Through initiatives like these, the company aims to foster sustainable development and a resilient future for both nature and local communities.
