27 August ,2019 – TNS management and 102 employees have jointly planted 700 mangrove trees at Koh Nok island, Tha Kham, Bangpakong Chachoengsao.
Mangrove forests are incredibly important ecosystems. It protects the local environment by acting like a green wall that reduces coastal erosion and helps reduce effects of heavy waves and strong winds on the coast. The intricate root system of mangroves also makes these forests attractive to fish and other organisms seeking food and shelter from predators as well as provides food for the local people and nutrients to the surrounding seas. Through our TREE-N-S FOR FUTURE – Mangrove Tree Planting project, TNS has come to realize that we could improve the public awareness of environmental conservation in this community. We invite students from Prommanukhroh school to join our environment conservation project for the first time as we believe that a successful conservation requires involvement of local communities. Ultimately, our effort to mangrove reforestation will lead to a positive result.
With this opportunity, we would request you to pay more attention and contribution to our CSR project to balance our business activities. Thank you for your participation and let’s make this community environmentally sustainable.
