TREE-N-S FOR FUTURE Mangrove Tree Planting at Koh Nok 2020

2 December 2020 – TNS management and 40 employees have jointly planted 500 mangrove trees at Koh Nok island, Tha Kham, Bangpakong Chachoengsao.

Mangrove forests are incredibly important ecosystems. It protects the local environment by acting like a green wall that reduces coastal erosion and helps reduce effects of heavy waves and strong winds on the coast. The intricate root system of mangroves also makes these forests attractive to fish and other organisms seeking food and shelter from predators as well as provides food for the local people and nutrients to the surrounding seas. Through our TREE-N-S FOR FUTURE – Mangrove Tree Planting project, TNS has come to realize that we could improve the public awareness of environmental conservation in this community.
